The group includes Michael Kalter on guitar and lead vocals; Doug Hamilton, on violin and Noah Cope on upright bass…together they are the WingWalkers Band...constantly adjusting to their environment - the motions of the audience around them, much like the shifting winds…. Together the WingWalkers walk the musical wing.
Noah cope, upright bassWith a professional career that spans over three decades, Noah Cope has experience in Bluegrass, Jazz, Pop, Blues, Opera and Orchestral music. A veteran road musician, Noah's major Broadway credits include a concert tour with British entertainer Michael Crawford and an eighteen year engagement with Andrew Lloyd Weber's The Phantom of the Opera.

Michael Kalter, Guitar/VocalsMichael Kalter began playing the guitar at the age of 7 compelled by his love of music and the outlet playing an instrument brought to his life. When you ask him why he started playing the guitar he will answer "Because I Had To". Spending his free time following this deep passion for music, Michael has created a legacy in the regional music scene that is continued in the WingWalkers.
Michael holds a BA and MA in Management from Antioch University and is a former Peace Corps volunteer. |
Doug Hamilton, ViolinDoug Hamilton is a classically trained violinist who spent many years touring the United States with country music artist Aaron Tippin and Barbara Mandrel. Although classically trained, Doug is drawn to the improvisatory styles of folk, blues and jazz. He has been called a "musical chameleon" and is quickly at home in most musical environments.
Doug Hamilton is also a mechanic and entrepreneur who owns BikeWise Oxford in Oxford Ohio where you can find him helping fellow cycling enthusiast by making custom wheels. |
